Venue
The Volunteering Fair will take place in Academy 1 on Oxford Road, M13 9PL. You can find it on the University’s interactive campus map.
Arrival and timings
The venue will open at 10am for you to set up your stand. Please aim to have your stand ready for 10.30am to allow time for a short pre-event briefing, before the event opens to students at 11am.
Travel information

We encourage you to use a sustainable method of transport if possible – the venue has particularly good bus links nearby.
If you are driving, please be aware that sections of Oxford Road are closed to non-emergency traffic. The University will not accept liability for any fines incurred. Please check the local access routes map before making your journey for details.
Parking
The nearest public car parks to the event are a five-minute walk away from Academy 1.

Unloading
We have no parking available at the venue. Please note that if you have anything to unload, it is drop off/pick up only. We would encourage you to avoid driving where possible.
If you plan on driving to the venue to unload before you park your car, please send us an email via volunteers@manchester.ac.uk before 12:00 noon on Thursday 2 October 2025 to let us know so that we can notify University car parking team. This is to ensure you have access to unload.
The drop off point is on Devas Street, off Oxford Road. The nearest car parking to the venue is the Cecil Street car park. This car park is marked as car park E on the University campus map.
